Lowe's unique Spyder Stinger Mach-Blue high-speed steel drill bit for wood and metal drilling shows the pinnacle of Spyder performance. These drill bits act as a billboard for Spyder's Mach-Blue "Armor Coating", a material that not only gives the drill a unique blue hue, but also helps edge retention and heat build-up.

Mach-Blue drill bits are designed to drill holes over and over again quickly and cleanly. Compared with other high-quality titanium or cobalt drill bits, they can cut cleanly and have a longer service life even when drilling dense and thick metals.

Stinger HSS Mach-Blue Bits joins the brand's growing range of drilling accessories. Spyder uses heat-treated M-series tool steel to manufacture drill bits-known for their durability. From there, Spyder coats the drill bit in a proprietary Mach-Blue coating, a super-hard surface coating that helps reduce heat while maintaining sharp cutting edges. This allows faster and cleaner cutting of wood, mild steel, steel, aluminum, stacked materials and other tougher alloys.

They also claim that these Spyder Stinger Mach-Blue HSS drills can drill 100 times as many holes as titanium or black oxide drills. Spyder even claims that Mach-Blue drills can drill 8 times faster than titanium drills, but we hope to see these claims tested in the real world.

We received some useful information from Spyder on how their new M series alloy drill bits are superimposed with cobalt drill bits and M2 HSS (standard high speed steel) drill bits.

You can find Spyder Stinger Mach-Blue drill bits exclusively at Lowe's. Whether in store or online. They have ten sets, including 1/16", 5/64", 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 5/16 "And 3/8" drill bits. The retail price of the kit is $39.98-this is a better price for drill bits, even more than titanium. Individual drill bits from 1/16" to 1/2" will be sold separately.
