In the American Pine State, we are very lucky to be able to carry out hundreds of different entertainment activities for you to choose from during our crazy season. Mountain biking is one of the most popular but least mentioned items. People absolutely love mountain biking in Maine, especially when cycling along one of our huge ski hills in the summer. Those people are braver than me in their blood, that's for sure.

According to WABI TV 5, a non-profit organization hopes to add 25 new bike lanes in the beautiful Moosehead Lake area near Greenville, Maine. The organization is called the Moosehead Outdoor Alliance, and they say they have reached an agreement on 15,000 acres of state-owned forest land called "Little Moose Public Lands Parcel."

Rodney Folsom, Finance Director of Moosehead Outdoor Alliance, said: "If you are a cyclist, the more places you can go, the better. We have great support from these other groups and they provide tips on how and how to proceed. , And said that they would be happy to help organize some trail construction. This is what we have done and it is really great. We hope to achieve this goal."

In addition to using federal grants, the organization also created a Go Fund Me page to help raise the additional funds needed to build and maintain these potential new paths.
