You might say that Warner Bros. made a lot of things under Batman's umbrella.

We already know that the new Batman movie, which will be released next spring, will launch a spin-off series about the Gotham City Police Department on HBO Max. But now it seems that this movie will have a second spin-off, which is about its version of Oswald Cobblepot-also known as Penguin-played by Colin Farrell in the movie. This series is also suitable for HBO Max.

According to Variety, this is part of "WarnerMedia's attempt to launch a new interconnected Batman universe on all its platforms." They claim that Farrell has officially "signed to star in and execute the production" of this penguin-related series, written by Lauren LeFranc. So...obviously the penguin was not killed in the movie? (I think this may be a prequel show.)

Apart from a few trailers, we haven’t seen much from Batman. These trailers don’t fully explain Penguin’s role in the Gotham version of director Matt Reeves, except that he is an opponent Robert Pattinson is a young version of the crime boss outside the Dark Knight. But there are many Batman gangsters in the movie, including Catwoman and Riddler. It is not clear how they are connected.

I think the series about criminal bosses in Batman's world might be interesting. Like the Sopranos, but not the FBI, Tony's biggest worry is whether Batman will suddenly appear during his family's Christmas dinner to arrest him? I can think of it as a show. Batman is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 4, 2022.
