Guy's Garage, Channel 4, Review: Nerd, a gasoline head TV supported by Guy Martin's full throttle passion

A strange feature of the "classic" Jeremy Clarkson Top Gear is that it is a TV series about cars, in which the car itself is sometimes accidental. Guy's garage is just the opposite.

With the return of champion motorcycle racer Guy Martin (Guy Martin) for the new season, he was talking nonsense about the engine. Obviously, this is a petrol-head TV, so I'm not afraid to get into the details of the subject.

Martin has been on the podium consecutively throughout his racing career, but his real passion is to put on work clothes and mess up the engine and crankshaft.

When he was about to take an old Volvo to Sweden to participate in the sacred Nordic sport "civil racing", he returned to his favorite place-basically the crazy Max in the depths of Scandinavia Met the video game Gran Turismo.

The joy of Channel 4’s delightful nerd celebration of automotive excellence lies in watching Martin (a lifelong enthusiast of Volvo) and partner Cammy prepare for the car battle applauded for the challenges of the future: the first is the acquisition of the car itself. First, Cammy accidentally bought the wrong Volvo, and then because it was automatic, they had to replace the gearbox.

Despite some minor issues, Martin seems very happy to learn some Swedish driving culture there. His enthusiasm for driving draws the line in this episode, and it is hard not to be attracted by his enthusiasm for driving at full speed.
