There are countless jokes surrounding in-laws. Some people may be harsh, while others have a relaxed personality. For Phillip LoGuidice, his sister-in-law never has to endure being the ass of those people. Why are you asking? If it weren't for her, he wouldn't have the gorgeous 67 Camaro you saw here.

"This car was a gift from my sister-in-law in 1983," said. "She called and told me that she was tired of this car. The battery was dead, the muffler was off, and the transmission was slipping. When she asked me if I wanted it, I immediately said,'Of course'."

In 1983, Phillip and his 67-year-old Camaro, just after his sister-in-law gave it to him.

Although it is not a show car, Philip does say that it is strong and primed. It has bias tires, wears internally, and smells like tobacco. The first thing he has to do is to clean it up and paint it black. He also added a double exhaust pipe, painted the steel wheels, and installed new spokes.

The 350 currently under the hood is very suitable for this cruiser. Phillip also stated that the Hooker Blackjack connectors were first installed on the 327 engine in 1983 and they still look great.

Initially the power of this car came from a 327,210 horsepower equipped with Powerglide. Although this car is still not "beautiful" as many people call it, it is interesting. "In 1985, I modified this car with a 350 engine," Philip said with a smile. "The engine was assembled with a four-bolt backbone, which was drilled 0.030 inches. The original crankshaft and connecting rod were refurbished and put back into service with a set of TRW flat-top pistons. Covering the cylinders is a set of 461 cylinder heads and A Weiand Street Warrior air inlet and a 650 Quick Fuel carburetor. Ignition is a mechanically propelled MSD billet."

After the engine upgrade was completed, he also added the Turbo 350 gearbox. Behind the Turbo 350 is a 10-bolt rear with a set of Richmond 3:55 gears and an Eaton posi.

Although the suspension performance of the 67 Camaro is good according to 1967 standards, it can benefit from some upgrades. In the case of Philip's Camaro, these upgrades are relatively simple. He added PST disc brakes and a set of front and rear PST swing rods. The rear part is supported by a pair of Edelbrock shock absorbers, while the front part uses a pair of basic gas shock absorbers.

Philip ended his email and said, "I have always liked your article about homemade hot rods. When I got 67 Camaro models in 1983, I lived in California. In 1985, I moved for work and they also transported me. Camaro."

The interior was redone in 2018, including a customized console. The meter was replaced by a Dakota Digital cluster.

Although I am sure that the black paint job looks great, in 2012, Philip decided it was time to paint the car again. "In 2012, I stripped and professionally painted the Camaro. The car is now CyberMetallic Grey with a striped design that I borrowed from Chip Foose."
