Stratford-Grangecon GAA members recently replaced their football boots and jerseys with Wellington boots and pullovers to raise funds for their clubhouse.

The club organized a car wash fundraising event at the club venue on October 30th, raising 1,250 euros.

Club members and local community members turned off the water pipes at their homes and let the players use powerful washing machines, soap and sponges to enjoy their lives.

In the end, all cars are shining, and people can enjoy tea, coffee and other snacks while waiting for their shining cars to dry in the sun.

In the past few years, the club has undergone a lot of development, a new entrance was built, the concrete floor was leveled, a new bathroom was installed, and a resilient floor was laid.

The funds will be used to complete the upstairs decoration of the clubhouse, toilet facilities, installation of doors and work on the club's court.

The next item on the agenda is the gym facilities for club members as they continue to seek to emulate their neighbors Dun Lavin and Donald and win the intermediate championship.

The club thanks all the young and old members of the blind car wash and the entire community for their support of the fundraising activities.
